EYE FOR DESIGN
Kinta pays a lot of attention to the design of the products. We cooperate intensively with our suppliers in this. Our knowledge of the western market combined with the suppliers insight into local techniques, materials and possibilities in a creative way. The designs are further developed in workshops in the Philippines, Vietnam and Thailand. Twice a year the collection is renewed with new shapes, colours and materials. In this way we develop a contemporary collection that follows the latest trends.
EYE FOR ORIGIN
Kinta imports interior decorations from the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand and Africa. Our collection comes about through a unique symbiosis of local products and western designs. Our approach is guided by the principles of fair trade, with consideration for decent compensation and good working conditions for the people involved in our production.
EYE FOR PRODUCERS
We like to do business directly, without intermediaries, with the producers, usually small family businesses. We support them with training and advice. We continuously check to see if anything can be improved in the products, production processes and working conditions.
EYE FOR CRAFTS AND MATERIALS
Our products are made from natural and residual materials which are carefully sourced in the regions where they are purchased. They are all made using traditional techniques.
EYE FOR PEOPLE
Kinta products are made by people, not by machines. Therefore we aim for good working conditions, decent compensations and good housing for the employees.
